Click photo to enlarge	Bernstein Realty Delivers Toys During the Holidays In keeping with holiday tradition, representatives from Bernstein Realty delivered several bags full of toys to Texas Children’s Hospital during the holidays in December 2003. Each year, the agents and staff at Bernstein Realty collect and donate a large number of toys for the children at the hospital.
Click photo to enlarge	Amy Bernstein is 2003 Finalist for “Woman Business Owner of the Year” Amy Bernstein, president and owner of Bernstein Realty, was honored in October 2003 by the National Association of Women Business Owners at their awards gala as one of the 2003 finalists for “Woman Business Owner of the Year.” Amy was among 10 finalists honored at the gala, and previously at a NAWBO reception in August and at their monthly meeting in September. This honor is given to women business owners by other woman business owners in recognition of the entrepreneurial spirit thriving among women business owners in Houston.
Bernstein Realty Participates In Race for the Cure Bernstein Realty President, agents and staff put on their walking shoes on Saturday, Oct. 4th and participated in the Annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure here in Houston’s Galleria area. Participating in the Coed 5K/3.1 mile walk from Bernstein Realty were Amy Bernstein, Estelle & Jim Elles, Anne Krueger, Bob Murdock, Christina Pavlovich, Mary Piper, Dani Salinas and Michelle Sandlin. They registered and walked under the group name of “Nancy Owens Memorial Foundation,” and were joined by family and friends, who also participated. Several members of the group wore Nancy Owens Memorial Foundation t-shirts in memory of fellow realtor and friend, Nancy Owens who lost her long battle with breast cancer in September of 2001.

Amy Bernstein Honored BY BMW Group In September 2003, the Houston BMW Group honored Amy Bernstein, president and owner of Bernstein Realty, at the 2003 BMW Ultimate Drive Appreciation Breakfast, benefiting The Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Each year the Group honors “Local Heroes” in the fight against breast cancer. At this year’s event, Amy was chosen as an honoree for her co-creation and involvement in the Nancy Owens Memorial Foundation, which is dedicated to a yearly fundraising event to benefit breast cancer research.
