On April 18th, Bernstein Realty’s Neil Caldwell joined Benchmark Mortgage’s Mark Cady at Boot’N & Shoot’N, which is a special annual event presented by Benchmark Mortgage in Dallas. The event, Boot’N & Shoot’N, promotes and provides assistance to military personnel, both past and present, and their families. All proceeds from the Boot Campaign boot sales, events and direct donations fund five assistance initiatives: jobs, housing, wellness, urgent assistance and family support. Boot’N & Shoot’N 2014 honored Navy Seal, Chris Kyle and Benghazi heroes Glenn Doherty and Tyrone Woods. The main event at the annual gathering turns a Hero into a Homeowner with the gift of a mortgage free home. Caldwell, a veteran himself and a proud Homes for Heroes® affiliate, enjoyed clay shooting with veteran guests and a fun reception with an auction and live band. Caldwell said the event, “is a great reminder that America can not and must not forget its defenders. What an amazing honor to be part of that brotherhood.”
