Guerra is also strong advocate for the fight against breast cancer working with the Nancy Owens Breast Cancer Foundation since 2002 and serves as the chairperson as of 2020.
“When I met Nancy 30 years ago, I had no idea that it would lead me to where I am today,” Guerra said. “Nancy was such an integral part in shaping me as a Realtor. She showed me how to treat people with respect and kindness and she taught me that you had to work hard to accomplish your goals. These are the reasons I work extra hard on the Nancy Owens Breast Cancer Foundation. Nancy’s goal is the Foundation’s goal — to work hard to find a cure for cancer. Through the work we accomplish with the Foundation we are able to underwrite and follow the grants that are making strides in cancer research. I am proud to chair this foundation and what we have achieved through the years. I am blessed to have formed lifelong friendships and to continue making a difference.”
